 | The Time Out Mosaic Club was created by me to keep in touch with former and present pupils and others who are interested in making and finding out more about mosaics and art. As facilitator I send members a newsletters, arrange mosaic and art related outings and keep you up to date on national and international mosaic events. I also provide you with information about my own workshops and the art and mosaic workshops that I attend throughout the year. We have been to the Clay Art Studio in Taupo twice, to the Hamilton Craft Expo, to Tauranga to see the city street mosaics Papamoa Beach to collect driftwood and shells to make hanging sculptures. I have hosted 4 open days at my studio and garden at 374 Clayton Road, Rotorua where members bring along nibbles and wine or morning and afternoon tea while working on small mosaics projects or pre-planned, creative group activities. I am frequently involved in making mosaics and art for exhibitions and commissions plus running weekend workshops so these activities are intermittent. At present there are 40 members and growing. The joining fee is $15.00 .While space permits club members may arrange with the webmaster to have some of their works displayed on this web. If there is sufficient interest from members I may create a discussion forum on this website.
