Judi and Jo run mosaic workshops throughout the year, one  of which I  attended in April 2005 for outdoor sculpture making. 

Dhaj's Place:Earth Building Workshop
Beautiful mosaic garden in the far North. I attended a sculpture making workshop with Dhaj's son Brent and made a giant fish out of dargit, chicken wire and steel rods which is waiting to be mosaiced. Brent is a lovely teacher and I recommend his sculpture courses. 

House of Windsor
Graeme and Rowan Jeffrey, Tauranga stained glass, glimmer glass and mosaic  glass tile shop with lots of good ideas on display. I have a beautiful array of their product which I am making some exhibition mosaic pieces with, which I will be featuring on my website.

Auckland, largest mosaic studio, gallery  and school.  Mosaic supplies also available. I have visited Toni and she was very helpful about directing me to Auckland mosaic sites. We also socialised at the  2005 Australian Mosaic Symposium in Sydney, where I gave a  well received, half hour visual presentation about New Zealand mosaics.

The Grass Hut, Kawakawa
Great Hundertwasser site in Northland New Zealand selling Hundertwasser art. The shop is located directly opposite the rightly famous Hundertwasser mosaic toilet. I first became interested in creating mosaics seven tears ago when I visited Kawakawa.

Australian Mosaic Association - full ofcolourful , fresh  mosaic examples and friendly members. I am now a member and presented a half hour speech on New Zealand Mosaics to their  Sydney symposium in April 2005. The other  Australain symposium speakers were professional , skilled and approachable and had a high standard of presentation. I recommend that as many New Zeland mosaic artists go to the next  2007 symposium in Perth as possible. The things that you will learn will inspire you so much as everyone  is totally devoted to mosaics.

  Sonia King
One of USA's most high profile Mosaic artists. Her book 'Mosaic Techniques and Traditions'  contains   world wide mosaic examples  and a comprehensive technical section. I attended an Advanced Mosaic Workshop with Sonia in Auckland in October  2004 , along with 20 other students from NZ and Australia. Her Father lives in Auckland so she vists New Zealand and runs workshops frequently

Waimangu Volcanic Valley
Thermal valley south of Rotorua, New Zealand featuring views across Lake Rotomahana to Mount Tarawera which erupted in 1886 destroying the pink and white terraces that had earned the reputation of the 7th wonder of the world. I exhibit my mosaics and paintings  there regularly.
